Are there any extended hours of childcare available?

Yes, Noah’s Ark Nursery carry’s out childcare for parents up till the hours of 9pm. Noahs Ark Nursery is situated a short distance away from Westoe Village Kindergarten.

Are you awarded pre-school grants through the Local Educational Aurthority (LEA)?

Yes, we have been awarded grants for children aged 3 and over. This includes 3 hours free childcare 5 days a week, totalling 15 hours a week. These hours can be used at the discretion of the parents and how you wish to use them over the period of the week is up to you.

Do you cater for before and after school childcare and throughtout holidays?

Yes Noah's Ark Nursery covers before/after school care and holiday periods for children attending school or nursery.

Do you give any discounts for childcare costs?

We give discounts if you have more than one child attending and if you pay by direct debit.

Is there any other financial help toward childcare costs?

Yes on top of discounts provided by the nursery and grants by the LEA there are grants available for those in full/part time education, additional support is also available through family tax credit. There are also a number of children’s childcare vouchers available depending on the organisation that you work for. You are always eligible for our discount rates and pre-school educational grants regardless of any other help you receive.

Is your food home cooked and of a high nutritional value?

Yes we do serve home cooked breakfast, dinner and tea with nutritional snacks in between. Noah’s Ark Nursery scored 39/41 in the NHS nutritional quality of food served for childcare provision, this score was the highest in the local area.
