About Westoe Village Kindergarten
Westoe Village Kindergarten is an Outstanding childcare provider based on St George's Avenue in South Shields. We use the years of experience we have gained in the Early Years to provide outstanding childcare to everyone who attends our setting. We provide care and education for children from six weeks to five years of age and our nursery setting offers the very best facilities where children can learn through play and exploration in a safe and caring environment.
Our child-centred approach to learning ensures that each child is provided with a rich and enjoyable learning experience, so they can grow and flourish as learners. Parents are valued at Westoe Village Kindergarten and essential to the work we do, we welcome and encourage parents to engage in their child's learning and share their experiences so that we can create a learning environment perfectly tailored for your child's individual needs.
On October 10th 2016 we were officially awarded an Outstanding grading by Ofsted. We were extremely proud that all the hard work and effort put in by everyone at Westoe Village Kindergarten was rewarded with the result and we will strive to provide the same the quality childcare that earned us this grading while continuing to improve the care we offer. We are looking forward to hopefully receiving many more Outstanding results in the future!
The Nursery
We are open 7.30 – 5.45 each weekday 51 weeks of the year, only closed for bank holidays and the Christmas period.
We have three main playing rooms with elegant gardens attached to each, the Ladybird room (6weeks – 2 years), Caterpillar room (2 – 3 years), and Butterfly room (3 – 4 years).
