We are looking to recruit a highly skilled nursery nurse with experience of caring and educating children 0-5 years old. Applicants must have a good knowledge of the Early Years foundation stage as well as OFSTED requirements, implementing both to match our high standards of care.

The role of the job is to interact with children in a happy and caring manner, providing strong learning and development opportunities through a variety of play and planned activities. Experience in observing and assessing children's learning and development is essential as well as planning exciting and enjoyable activities relevant to children's age and development. The ability to work as a team is essential and applicants must possess good communication skills, adapting their communication to suit staff, parents, children and a range of multi-professionals. Applicants should be able to work strongly off their own initiative providing only the best for our children.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To plan and deliver activities and opportunities that promote the principles set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

• Work as a key worker supporting the individual needs of the child working closely with parents and carers.

• To ensure all key children's learning journals are updated weekly with observations and evidence.

• To follow all policies and procedures within the setting.

• Knowledge of Safeguarding and child protection procedures.

• To work as part of a team to ensure the nursery environment is safe and secure.

In order to be considered for the role of Nursery Nurse, you will need:

• A passionate and positive attitude towards working with children.

• Experience within an early years environment.

• A full and relevant level three qualification or above in childcare.
